Our Holiday Must-Watch List

--

After we finished eating the Glory Bowl for dinner for the second time this week, Luke wanted to watch a movie - Home Alone 2 it was.

When I was little, I adored the movie Prancer.

A Christmas Story, Home Alone, Rudolph, Frosty The Snowman were also on my must-watch holiday movie list.

Our 13 channel, manual, remoteless T.V. showed all the classics throughout the month of December. Besides baking and doing crafts with my Mom, it was one of the highlights of those festive days.

Christmas is a favourite time of year in our household. We look forward to decorating, making treats, smelling candles, remembering why we celebrate it in the first place and watching a movie or two together.

Though a couple of the ones from my youth have stuck around, we’ve added a few to the lineup:

  • Elf
  • National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
  • Home Alone 1 & 2
  • The Santa Claus movies
  • White Christmas
  • The Polar Express
  • Miracle On 34th Street
  • How The Grinch Stole Christmas
  • It’s A Wonderful Life
  • Mickey’s A Christmas Carol
  • Frozen

…and of course Die Hard.

How about you? What are your favourites?
