‘Colour! More Colour!’

Life Deserves Bright Shades

I’m an 80’s and 90’s gal.

So naturally, I love bright neon colours.

For a decent portion of my younger years, I was mega self-conscious. I wouldn’t wear shorts in the summer (even in +40C Kamloops heat) and I did the all black/dark colour/oversized wardrobe thing.

…thinking that people cared or even paid attention —but they didn’t and they don’t.

Still, inside, I always have and will forever adore bright, fun colours with favourites being lavender/periwinkle, light banana yellow, pastel tangerine, aqua and neon coral.

The great thing about Luke and I working together on LIVN GIVN is that I ‘get’ his style. He’s like an 80’s-90’s kid but with a modern, much cooler style than me so it’s a perfect partnership ;).

Luke loves neon colours too and his most preferred ones are pink and purple.

He’s into layering clothes, collecting hats, mixing patterns and thrifting. He is a total shoe guy with a solid Jordan mini-collection and knows all of the latest trends.

Surprisingly, he’s on the shy side when attention is on him though he’s proud when he sees someone donning a L&G item.

Constantly coming up with new variations of design and colour combos, Luke is particular with what we create.

“No, Mom”, not like that…is often heard around here.

Moving forward, I think I may earn more flexibility with input for the adult apparel. We’ll see how that goes.

With all that goes on in life, why not be bold and bright?
