‘Rockstars’

Writing about my personal experiences gets boring and though I’m an open book about every topic in my life (if it can be of help to others), I‘d rather talk about the great stuff other people are doing, who they are as people and how much value they add to this planet and their fellow humans.

I’m not sure how long this series will run and it will take a while to showcase all of the incredible people I have the privilege of having in my life. Inevitably I may slip on highlighting a few…for that I apologize in advance.

I’ll start by giving the spotlight to key players who are currently working with us on business-related projects. If anyone out there is looking or needing to add members to your team in the areas I present, we highly recommend these peeps…obvs:

Rockstars — Day 1:

Stacey Nakashimada

I’ve been friends with Stace for about 35 years.

One of my oldest friends, she has been with me through it all and is one of the most chill, caring and loyal pals anyone could ask for.

Putting up with my 20 daily outfits changes when I was a kid, having to sit and wait while I finished long piano practices, me getting her to carry my backpack home in early elementary years and her being the best ‘Aunt’ to our boys…besides her vast skill and knowledge base that I will mention in this blog, Stacey couldn’t be a more deserving rockstar to take the starting place in this series.

Stacey, Stace, Stac, Aunty Stac is a fantastic step-mom, is crazy creative and anyone that has been on the receiving end of her generosity can attest she is the best and most thoughtful gift-giver. Stace loves animals and tends to many of them on her farm including cows, chickens, dogs and cats. She makes a mean cabbage/noodle salad and is always up for adventures.

Stac is likeable, gets along with everyone, has a great sense of humour and she works with all things that pertain to safety. The safety part is what I’m highlighting so everyone can know how much value she could add to your business…whether big or small.

Having worked all over Alberta, Northern B.C., the West Coast, the Interior and now residing in the Fraser Valley, Stacey’s portfolio for safety program development, assisting in developing procedures and creating safety forms runs an easy 14 years in duration.

Primary sectors of specialty include construction and mining and the companies she has and currently works for/with are global entities with many, many employees. Whether you have a small-scale business or a large multi-million dollar corporation, Stace will ensure every detail of your health and safety protocols meet or exceed industry standards.

If you are looking for your business to become COR certified, to qualify for any type of similar certification or for someone to assess your current health and safety program, with the constant shifting of the COVID-19 situation Stacey is your go-to.

She is in the works of developing a more fully comprehensive program for our window blind/rollshutter and screen business, The Supply Guy Inc., which will ensure we stay as up-to-date as possible with all COVID and general workplace health and safety expectations.

Thanks Stac for having our backs in life and in business. Heart you friend.

If you need to get up-to-speed on this COVID stuff, if you need a safety program overhaul or if it’s time to implement one in order to grow your business, you can inquire to work with Stacey who is one of the best in the industry.
